Our Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT
Accounts to be settled on departure. We accept MasterCard, Visa
and most debit cards. We do not accept American Express
or Diners Club. Cheques can only be accepted when supported
by a valid cheque card.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We require 48 hours (two clear days) advance notice
in writing of any cancellation. If shorter or no notice is given,
we will charge your credit card in full.
If however, the room is re-let to another guest,
we will only charge for any shortfall if there is one.
We make every reasonable effort to re-let
the room in the event of short notice cancellation.

NO SMOKING
Chestnut House is strictly a non-smoking property
although we do have a large veranda and very pleasant
garden where smoking is of course permitted.

CAR PARKING
We have a large secluded car park but cars and their contents
are parked entirely at car owners' risk.
